Owning and restoring Volkswagens was a hobby and a way to earn a little extra on the side.  But Frank and his wife looked for ways to turn his hobby into a business.  He suggested that his own name was inspiration for something clever and much-needed in Utah: A gourmet  hot dog stand operating out of a 1964 High Roof Volkswagen Bus. From there, Frank's Franks was born.
